Children will start with random scribble which is swinging their arms back and forth across the drawing surface. After that, they will control their scribble with varying their motion and by repeating certain lines that give them particular pleasure. When the conceptual and motor skills of children increases, they will produce circular patterns and geometrical shapes with combined the lines and shapes. This is caused by lack of knowledge. They are also not staring at the drawing paper but more focused on abstract images on their mind. For each time they draw, the human figures are differently. The children also draw the human figure to represent the nature of someone or feeling that they have on the figures. They also focus on the parts that have significance only as the face.
