What are the local school district and in-school guidelines for the use of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom? Process Part A 1. Development and implementation of an initial questionnaire to gain further insight into student interests, skills and previous experience in relation to the course as well as create a formative questionnaire used throughout the course for students to reflect on and provide feedback during projects. 2. Projects will be structured and prescribed learner outcomes applied to coincide with student interests, skills and build on previous experience. 3. Student feedback from initial questionnaire shared with class. 4. Create and use a class website for assignments, encouraging an inquiry-based and Constructivist learning environment where students are responsible for their own learning. Development and implementation of an exit questionnaire to collect feedback with a focus on the effectiveness of integrating student input, inquiry-based learning and Constructivism for student engagement. Process Part B 1. Contact local district office and inquire about current guidelines in relation to Web 2.0 tools. 2. Contact in-school representative and inquire about current school guidelines in relation to Web 2.0 tools. 3. Based on local district and in-school feedback, generate a document outlining both district and in-school guidelines for student use of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom. 4.
