Te)t ob2ects are sed !or adding in!ormation to a "li#,iew doc ment. The* can be sed to show te)t in!ormation or an image in the la*o t. The* can be moved and positioned an*where on a sheet, 2 st li#e an* other sheet ob2ect. Te)t ob2ects can also be sed e!!ectivel* !or displa*ing the res lts o! calc lations, and to create bac#gro nds. Thin# o! a Te)t ob2ect as a blan# ob2ect !or content. <o can se it to create an introd ction page !or *o r "li#,iew application, or simpl* to displa* the data model that s pports *o r anal*sis. Te)t ob2ects can also be sed !or pict res and can also contain calc lations. =e can insert te)t or Image b* browsing the location where *o r images are saved.

The e)pression we sed was pre!i)ed with an G 8eL al to9 sign. This is to tell "li#,iew to treat the entered te)t as an e)pression and eval ate it accordingl*, instead o! treating it as a static te)t. The Te)t ob2ect does not have the 3 mber properties tab which is o!ten seen on other ob2ects, that is wh* we sed the 3 m89 ! nction to properl* !ormat the e)pression o tp t. Here we have ta#en the !ield as no o! transported passenger and divide b* /...... beca se we wants the res lt in millions and here we have given the !ormat on which we wants to displa* o r res lt. 3ow here in the te)t ob2ect the e)pression starts displa*ing n meric instead o! te)t.
