Reporter, The Queens Courier Fulltime reporter at a local weekly newspaper with a daily online presence. Covered Hurricane Sandy: photographed the storm surge in south Queens, N.Y.; photographed President Obamas arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport to survey the damage; covered Gov. Andrew Cuomos visit to Breezy Point in November; part of an award-winning team for in-depth reporting. Reported on several political issues: the state charges against former state Sen. Shirley Huntley; Huntleys federal sentencing; community reaction to the arrest of state Sen.
