Aurora, Colo. – The Aurora Police Department is requesting the public’s help in determining the whereabouts of Eric Jesus Chacon- Martinez. He may go by “Jesus” or other names. He is described as being 30-33 years of age, 5’08”, and 160 pounds. He may work as a house painter. He has not been seen since the night of the homicide and investigators would like to talk to him. Anyone with information on Chacon-Martinez’s whereabouts is asked to call Aurora Police Agent Todd Fredericksen at (303) 739-6106. If the person with information is Spanish speaking only, they may call 303-739-6957 and leave a message in Spanish. You can also call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-STOP (7867). Information Previously Released on December 27, 2013 Aurora, Colo. – Shortly before 8:00 p.m. last night Aurora Police responded to a report of a dead body at 11922 East Archer Place, apartment K-23.

When officers arrived on scene they found the body of a deceased adult male inside of the apartment who was the apparent victim of a homicide. Detectives from the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation. They are currently in the preliminary stages of the investigation interviewing witnesses and processing the crime scene. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office once the autopsy is completed.
