Read the following passage carefully. Then do the task that follows.

Sir Edmund P. Hillary together with Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa from Nepal succeeded in climbing to the top of Mount Everest, the worlds highest mountain in 1953. However, if truth be told, Hillary was three metres ahead of Tenzing Norgay at the final ridge, which makes him the first person to reach the top. He was a man of great generosity and humility and he allowed Tenzing to share the glory with him. The truth only came out after Tenzings death. Hillary was also never one to rest on his laurels. In all, he completed six trips to the roof the world. For more than fifty years after the conquest, he returned to Nepal more than a hundred times in order to give back what he had gained from the local community. He felt that he owed Nepal and his people his fame. In 1962, he set up the Himalaya Trust through which he built schools, hospitals, clinics, airstrips and bridges for Nepal. He also set up a reforestation programme and ensured that the Nepalese had fresh water readily available for them. He also supported the listing of Mount Everest and the Cholumunga National Park on the World Heritage Danger List. Hillary died of a heart failure in Auckland on 11 January 2008. He was 88
