SLAVERY WEBQUEST PROJECT
• The PowerPoint needs to include the following:
• Introduction slide (with the topic, your name, Kappa title) • Two slides on the Triangle Trade (each slide needs to have two facts and, if you want, a picture) • Two slides on the capture of slaves in Africa (each slide needs to have two facts and, if you want, a picture) • Two slides on the Middle Passage (each slide needs to have two facts and, if you want, a picture) • One slide on a famous slave with details about their life (Nat Turner, Frederick Douglass, etc) • A conclusion slide with your reaction to what you have learned.

SLIDES
• Each slide must contain at least two (2) facts and can also include pictures and other details if you wish. • You will be given class time in Technology to create your project and will also receive mini-lessons in each Tech class that detail different aspects of PowerPoint you can use to make your PowerPoint powerful.

Most information is organized in a clear, logical way. One slide or item of information seems out of place. Most of the content is accurate but there is one piece of information that might be inaccurate.

2 (79-65%)
Some information is logically sequenced. An occassional slide or item of information seems out of place. The content is generally accurate, but one piece of information is clearly flawed or inaccurate. All graphics are attractive but a few do not seem to support the theme/content of the presentation. Presentation has a lot of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

1 (65-0%)
There is no clear plan for the organization of information.

Sequencing of Information is Information organized in a clear, logical way. It is easy to anticipate the type of material that might be on the next slide.

Content - Accuracy All content throughout the presentation is accurate. There are no factual errors.

Content is typically confusing or contains more than one factual error. Several graphics are unattractive AND detract from the content of the presentation.

Use of All graphics are Graphics/Pictures attractive (size and colors) and support the theme/content of the presentation.

A few graphics are not attractive but all support the theme/content of the presentation.

Spelling and Presentation has no Grammar misspellings or grammatical errors.

Presentation a few misspellings and a few grammatical errors.

Presentation has so many spelling and grammar errors that it incoherent.
