Somewhat organized. Guidelines for font, colors, transitions, and animations are not consistently followed. The minimum number of slides is not met. Images not incorporated effectively, cause distraction, and detract from overall presentation. One Element of Fiction is not addressed.

3 (meets standards)
Well organized. Guidelines for font, colors, transitions, and animations are followed. The minimum number of slides is included. Images are incorporated effectively, do not distract, and improves overall presentation. All Elements of Fiction are addressed in the presentation. Personal reflection is included.

4 (exceeds standards)
Well organized. Guidelines for font, colors, transitions, and animations are followed. More than the minimum number of slides is included. Images are incorporated smoothly, logically, and greatly enhance presentation.

All Elements of Fiction are addressed in the presentation with some textual examples from the short story. Personal reflection is included. Demonstrates thorough research and knowledge of material. A minimum of 3 resources are used. No more than one Internet resource is used. All resources are properly cited in the bibliography. Strong, clear voice. Excellent pacing. Presenter clearly took time to practice presentation. No spelling or grammatical errors. Is completed within the assigned time.
