Dear Hounorable Christy Clark and Hounorable George Abbot,

Im writing this letter to express concern that the Bill before the Legislature will not promote Peace and Harmony in British Columbia.

It is my understanding that this Bill substantially interferes with teachers rights to collectively bargain. This Bill does not preserve processes of consultation or negotiation in good faith and it seriously undermines lessons learned and teachers substantive freedom to associate and negotiate under our Charter.

It is also my understanding that this Bill undermines what was gained from the Learning Round Table and I ask that you consider defining the nature and the degree of consultation at the school level over absolving the ability to consult on the merits of an individual class.

This Bill undermines collaboration.

I ask that Government seek to promote Peace and Harmony in British Columbia.

Respectfully

Reece Jorgensen
