General information (Youth groups and youth organizations are groups of people whose motives are the same: sending children out into the world with confidence and hope in their future.) C. Thesis Statement Three reasons how youth groups and organizations impact the

society are they build up the children's confidence in their future, they build a stronger generation for tomorrow and the give children a hope that they can and have the power to stand up and make a difference.
II. 1st Body Point (Built up childrens confidence in their future.) A. Supporting Paragraph(Children today have broken homes and no support which often destroys their confidence which can lead to them feeling they have no future) B. Supporting ParagraphA study conducted by Harris Interactive® on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters fiound adults mentored as children through Big Brothers Big Sisters to have the following long term outcomes: · Alumni were 75% more likely than non-alumni to have received a four-year college degree (28% of alumni vs. 16% of non-alumni). · Alumni were 39% more likely than non-alumni to have current household incomes of $75,000 or higher (46% of alumni vs. 33% of non-alumni) etc.

The group expedition in “unfamiliar territory” instills confidence and strength and helps teens develop new perspectives and skills for dealing with the transition to adulthood. With a focus on increasing selfawareness, communication and goal-setting, students return home from their expedition having further developed the values and skills needed to create and maintain a healthier

self-image, trustworthy relationships and productive life skills. Outward Bound has been changing lives through challenge and discovery for more than 50 years by using the wilderness as a classroom to provide unparalleled opportunities for discovery, personal growth, self-reliance, teamwork and compassion. Our programs continue to serve youth, teens and adults with wilderness expeditions and other innovative programming in America's most beautiful wilderness areas, in classrooms, city parks and in boardrooms. Our diverse programming is a testament to our innovative idea that engaging in challenge and considering the results teaches us how to work together and how to rely on ourselves and, perhaps more importantly, each other.

Conclusion(paragraph 8) A. these organizations and organizations across the world all have one motive; giving these kids awareness that they have a hope and a future. it will take hard work but we can all make our lives the best they can be when we put the best of ourselves into it. B. based on all of the research on this topic, these organizations have really changed the lives of these children and have worked hard and given support and shown compassion for kids that dont get that normally at home or with friends. C.
