UCLA head football coach Jim Mora agreed to a new extension that keeps him with the Bruins through the 2019 season. He will earn an average of $3.5 million per year in base pay and talent fees, and up to $930,000 in annual performance bonuses.
The contract -- released by the school in February -- makes him the second-highest paid coach at a Pac-12 public school, after Washington's Chris Petersen.
The terms also state that Mora has an additional $1.1 million pool for assistant salaries in 2014, followed by another $200,000 in 2015.
Any buyouts are also waived if UCLA has not started construction on its new football facility by October 2015.
