The Body Parts of Our Circulatory System blood and lungs Blood vessels, heart,

Our circulation is a continuous pattern. The heart pumps blood into our lungs to pick up oxygen. The oxygenated blood than travels throughout bodies and travels back to the heart in veins to pick up more oxygen and begin the pattern again. Blood also contains blood cells that have jobs such as fighting diseases, stop bleeding and eliminate wastes from our blood. Without this complex system our bodies would not function.

How Does the Circulatory System Work?
 

This system works by eliminating carbon dioxide and wastes from our bodies. It also distributes oxygen and nutrients to keep us healthy while fighting diseases and germs An average heart rate per minute for a human at rest is 70 beats per minute. That’s 4,200 beats per hour and 100,800 beats per day!
