LANDSCAPE CONSULTING Monarch Gardens – 2011-present Owner of a native prairie garden consulting business for individuals and schools in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. Work with landowners, homeowners, and teachers to create site-appropriate landscaping, share maintenance techniques, and plan organic care methods. Visit nurseries with clients and select plants. CONSERVATION / VOLUNTEER WORK Wachiska Audubon Society – 2013-present Board member for a southeastern Nebraska prairie and wildlife conservation group. Wachiska owns and maintains almost 500 acres of prairie habitat, with another 500 acres in perpetual easements. Work with local and regional organizations in educational and state legislative outreach to preserve the habitats of native wildlife and prairie in Nebraska. Manage social media accounts and increase visibility of organization during it’s 40th anniversary year (2013). Spearhead implementation of GIS mapping of our prairies along with interactive on-site cell phone guides.
