ENHANCED SECURITY AND SAFETY MEASURES

The Scotiabank Saddledome has been implementing enhanced guest security and safety measures over the course of the 2013-14 season. The next phase of the enhancement is the installation of walk through metal detectors at all main entry points to the venue. The installation is still in progress with full operation expected over the next month. These measures are consistent with those in effect at other NHL venues and most large public assembly venues throughout North America. All guests and their belongings may be searched upon entry into the venue. Security screening includes walk through metal detectors, hand-held metal-detecting wands and bag searches. By tendering a ticket and entering the venue, guests consent to such searches.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
The venue reserves the right in their absolute discretion to deny access for any item(s) deemed a safety concern or that may result in an undesirable impact on the guest experience. Backpacks, large bags or luggage (too big to fit under a seat with no obstructions) Any and all weapon like devices Aerosol cans Mechanically enhanced noise making devices Large chains, spiked jewelry Explosives, fireworks, sparklers, glow sticks, laser pens Food and beverages Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs Laptops

Guests are discouraged from bringing bags or items requiring inspection into the venue as our goal is to expedite entry as much as possible. Prohibited items that are discovered during security inspections must be either returned to the owners vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to conscation. Please arrive early and open coats, jackets, purses and/or bags before approaching the metal detectors. This will assist with an expedited entry into the venue. Thank you for your cooperation.
