March 2014 Dear Friend, Greetings to you from everyone at the church. The Lord is moving in peop e!s hearts and there is a great desire in the church to see the "i of God accomp ished in this day# $t is good to %no" the Lord has not forgotten you or forsa%en you# &e %no"s your situation through and through# ' fe" "ee%s ago "e had a "ater (aptism. ' man came to church and the Lord touched him so deep y that he opened his heart and decided to give &im his a . )e (apti*ed him in the name of +esus and he said he fe t c ean inside. &e has (een coming to church ever since# There is a psa m ,ing David "rote many years ago that gives us great encouragement. Psalm 37:1 says, -Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.- $t seems the %ing had pro( ems "ith those around him, (ut he did not fret a(out it. .erse / te s us "hat he did a(out his out oo% and attitude0 - rust in the !ord, and do good" so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.- David rea i*ed the situations "ith others cou d not stop God from ( essing him. &e %ept his focus on trusting the Lord for everything in his ife. &e a o"ed God!s "i and God!s desires to (ecome his "i and his desires. That is trust# Psalm 37:# says, -$elight thyself also in the !ord" and %e shall give thee the desires of thine heart&- Delight is a (eautifu "ord. )hen "e de ight ourse ves in the Lord, our hearts are not i%e a stone, (ut our hearts are soft and p ia( e. )e are a( e to earn and receive understanding and the different perspectives God is trying to teach us. 1itterness has no p ace for a heart that de ights in the Lord. 2nforgiveness may (e difficu t to give, (ut a heart that de ights in the Lord rea i*es the on y one that is (eing hurt (y not forgiving others is you. +esus said "hi e on the cross, -Father, forgive them" for they know not what they do& and they 'arted %is raiment, and cast lots- 3!uke (3:3#4. )hen &e forgave others things actua y got "orse# 1ut &e forgave, "hich freed &im to fu fi &is mission to ta%e a"ay a the sins of

The 1i( e says that +esus de ighted to do the "i of God. &e cou d give po"er to those "ho strugg e "ith unforgiveness and (itterness (ecause it had no dominion in +esus! heart# &e overcame it so that "e cou d overcome it, too. &e ( a*ed the trai for us so a $ have to do is fo o" &is e5amp e.
