Manually cocking single shot bolt action with a forged steel and machined low scope bolt handle. Trigger pull - 2~ Ibs. (approximately).

Rebounding firing pin automatically blocked to prevent accidental discharge. No gun should ever be carried with a live round in the chamber and should never be cocked until you are ready to fire.

Rear peep sight fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Front ramp with post.

Hand rubbed oil finished walnut with pistol grip and Monte Carlo Comb.

Length of pull is 11 Yz inches.

TO REMOVE BOLT- Lift bOlfhandle and pull rearward to open action. Press trigger rearward and pull bolt from rifle.

TO PUT BOLT IN RIFLE -Insert bolt into receiver, pull trigger and complete forward travel of bolt. Rotate bolt

handle downward to lock.

CAUTION - Before firing be sure barrel is clean, free of heavy QiI,grease or any other obstruction. Be sure rifle

is pointed where you want to shoot. .

TO LOAD RIFLE - Open action, load cartridge directly into chamber. Sli(je belt forWard toclose action and chamber cartridge. Lower bolt handle to lock cartridge into barrel.

TO UNCOCK FIRING PIN - Keeping muzzle polnted down, firmly grasp the cocking piece with younhumb and forefinger pulling rearward, then with your other hand, depress the trigger slowly. While still f.irmly holding the cocking piece and depressing the t~igger, allow the cocking piece to slowly move forward until it stops.

TO FIRE AND EJECT - Be sure rjfl~ is pointed where you want to shoot. Trigger can be pulled and rifle fired. To eject fired case, lift bolt handle and pull bolt rearward.

TO UNLOAD CHAMBER - MaRing sure cocking piece is fully forwar,d, rai$e the bolt handle .. open action and remove cartridge from chamber.

SIGHT ADJUSTMENT - Sights are C'are,funyadjU!~ted atfactory. However, some re-alignment may be required for individuals. .

WINDAGE- Loosen rear sight windage screw allowing sigflt-aperturE!to move to the left to move target impact to left or move aperture to righlto move target impact to right The rear sight slide has graduation marks.

ELEVATION - Tom elevation screw to loosen rear sight slide. Raise or lower slide and tighten to desired height. Raise slide for longer range or to raise bullet impact 00 target. Lowering slide will shorten range or drop bullet impact on target.

CLEANING AND CARE - Remove bolt. Wipe bore with .22 cal'ioercleafJing pate.h. It is ilJ'lRQrtant thal bore be cleaned from breech to muzzle to prevent shooting resldeeln barrelftomfalling into action. Use nghtfy-oiled cloth patch after cleaning. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Please give Model number, part number and name. Give serial number and caliber. Identify parts from list, picture or exploded view.

Cover only one subject in letter or order. Do not order parts and give repair instructions in the same letter.

Please do not ship sample parts if they may be identified otherwise. See shipping instructions below.

Parts that require fitting will only be sold to licensed qualified gunsmiths or preferably fitted at our factory.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FACTORY SERVICE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Please package carefully. Use plenty of cushioning material to prevent movement of gun or parts in package. Please do not ship gun in a guncase, or special container that must be returned. Return of gun or parts will be speeded if properly packaged 'in a throw-away carton. Clearly mark forwarding and return address on gun package as well as on attached letter.

Securely attach complete letter of information on outside of each package returned to factory for repairs. Please do not return gun accessories such as sling straps, quick release swivels, special boots, covers, telescopes, mounts or any special equipment to factory with gun shipment. Give full details of contents. State if complete gun or part. List Model number and name, serial number and caliber. Give full condition of contents; any parts missing or damaged, etc. This will enable us to accurately list needed repairs ..

Do not order parts and give repair instructions in same letter. To avoid delay in starting work, please include in first orderor letter the trouble to be corrected, changes desired or parts to be replaced. Chipmun~gun parts are not interchangeable with those of any other make, for this reason, Oregon Arms, Inc. cannot service any gun not of our manufacture.

IMPORTANT: It is a Federal Offense to ship firearms and ammunitiontog~tl1er. BefOre packaging firearms for return to factory, all live ammunition must be removed.
