Seut Blind Flange Valves are installed to ensure complete segregation between various grades of cargoes, blanking off parts of pipeline systems, etc. The blind flange valve especially suitable for use on board ships, rigs and platforms, refineries, terminals, chemical and petrochemical industries. The Seut blind flange valve is operated in either one of two positions: 1. The sealing spool type unit removed i.e. full flow. 2. The sealing spool type unit in position i.e. double shut-off. The sealing spool type unit consists of two discs which are spread apart by a center nut, thus pressing the discs on to their seats, and giving a double shut-off in one operation. The valves can be supplied in Carbon Steel, St. 52.3 or Stainless Steel, AISI 317L. It is approved by DNV, Lloyds Register, ABS, USCG, BV, RINA, USSR Register.
