Universal Pedestrian Bridge Project Exploratory Work Monday-Tuesday, March 10 & 11, 2014 Late Night Only, 9pm-6am
As part of exploratory work related to the Universal Pedestrian Bridge Project, construction crews will conduct a total of three street level borings at the intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Universal Hollywood Drive adjacent to Universal Studios. The purpose is to collect subsurface data to perform geotechnical design for the subject project. This activity requires the closure of eastbound and westbound right lanes of Universal Hollywood Drive at Lankershim Blvd., late night Monday Tuesday, March 10 &11, 2014. The lane closures will begin at 9pm and will be removed before 6am on both days. WHAT: Exploratory work related to the Universal Pedestrian Bridge Project. WHEN: Late night Monday and Tuesday, March 10 & 11, 2014 from 9pm to 6am. WHERE: Universal Hollywood Drive at Lankershim Blvd. WHAT TO EXPECT: Closure of eastbound and westbound right lanes of Universal Hollywood Drive at Lankershim Blvd. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be safely routed around the construction zone. Access to businesses and residencies will be maintained. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
