Dear Parents, We have been learning about Lent and discussing things to do for Jesus during this time. We have decided that we will do small things each day for Jesus. Small things include: picking up your dirty clothes (as opposed to leaving them for mom), hanging our coats and backpacks, picking up our toys, being polite, etc. Each child was supposed to do one small thing this past weekend. It would be great if you could encourage this at home also, so that we can extend our Lenten sacrifices to our home life. Even though report cards just went home last week, we still need to remember to read. The first AR due date is April 10th, which is a month away, but we will be on spring break for one week of that month. So please encourage your child to keep reading! I am proud that some of them have books that they keep on their desk and read any time they have a few minutes between lessons! Thats great, I am so glad to see them do that!! Lastly, the weather should be better this week and we will be able to go outside! Please remember to have your child dress appropriately for the weather. Also, I do not have all of my report card envelopes back yet. Please send them to school with your child tomorrow. Have a blessed week, Mrs. Patsavas
