UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT EASTERN DISTRICT OF VIRGINIA RICHMOND DIVISION

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, v. Action No. 3:14-CR-12 ROBERT F. MCDONNELL, and MAUREEN G. MCDONNELL, Defendants.

ORDER THIS MATTER is before the Court on a Motion for Release of Brady Materials (“Brady Motion”) (ECF Nos. 9, 26) filed by both Defendants and an Urgent Motion to Compel Rule 16 Document Production (“Rule 16 Motion”) (ECF No. 58) filed by Defendant Robert McDonnell. After examining the record and memoranda filed by the parties, the Court finds that the facts and law are abundantly clear from the pleadings and sufficient to allow the Court to exercise its discretion. As such, oral argument would not aid in the decisional process and is unnecessary. The Court hereby DENIES the Brady Motion and DENIES the Rule 16 Motion. At a later date, the Court will provide a more expansive explanation of its reasoning. Let the Clerk send a copy of this Order to all counsel of record. It is SO ORDERED.
