Types of malware

Worm:
A program that replicates and destroys data and files on your computer. it operates to eat through the computer system until your drive is completely empty. they are activated when a user is tricked into downloading them. It enters through a vulnerability in the system and it makes use of file transport so it can move unaided. it replicates itself.

Rootkit:
software designed to remotely access a computer and control it without being detected. once installed it is possible for the person operating the virus to delete files and extract information.

Bug:
it is a software which produces a flaw in the system which produces an undesired outcome. these flaws are usually the result human error. it only affects any program slightly. more serious bugs can make the computer crash or freeze.
