Lampiran 1-6 School Based Experiment Reflection Practice Activity: Simple Public Speaking

1. Focused issue :

Language development of students especially Standard 6 students.

2. Analysis of focused issue :

2.1 Strength :

Students involved in the activity and co-operated very well.

2.2 Weakness :

Students have problems regarding with self esteem. Students are quite shy when they speak in English infront of their class.

3. Suggestion :

Teachers should have an alternative way to encourage students to build their self esteem.

Students should be given ample of chances so that they can always give a try.

Students general knowledege .

2. . Analysis of focused issue :

2.1 Strength :

Students give attention and they intrigued with the question of the quiz.

2.2 Weakness : Its quite hard to get the respoense from the students. Students are afraid to answer questions in English.

3. Suggestion :

The quiz questions should be simpler and much more interesting to attain the attraction of the students.

Activity: Motivational Talk

1. Focused issue :

Students perception towards the English Language.

2. . Analysis of focused issue :

2.1 Strength :

Students co-operated and they gave their fullest attention.

2.2 Weakness :

Students do not want to involve in the talk as they are shy to talk in English.

3. Suggestion :

Teachers should introduce a way that is fun and the same time can improve their level of English Language. For example, students can learn English Language by listening and singing English songs.

Students usage of language and their courage to talk infront of the whole class.

2.1 Strength :

Students are excited to introduce themselves and they raise up their hands to be called.

2.2 Weakness :

They speak softly and it is more to mumbling. Their voice projection are still low.

3. Suggestion :

Teachers should conduct more activities that involves voice projection such as, public speaking and story telling so that they know how to project their voice correctly.

Cognitive development of Standard 2 students.

2. . Analysis of focused issue :

2.1 Strength :

Students give their full co-operation to conduct the activity successfully. Students show their respect and obedient to the teachers orders.

2.2 Weakness :

Students are not confident enough to answer the question forwarded by the teachers. Students cant give attention for a long period.

3. Suggestion :

Students should be divided into small groups. Teachers should give them the chance to experience themselves and this can draw their attention.
