Lesson Objective: Students will be able to comprehend a short story with puppets explaining the story Materials: 1) Story books that have many pictures and visual aids in it 2) Puppets that are suitable for the stories that I decide to tell 3) iPad or other electronic devices and projectors Overview: 1) Explain students what the puppets are 2) Name each puppet for children to focus on a story 3) Connect the puppets and a story that you selected to read Time: Instructions: Extensions/Adaptations: 1) In case of limited access to electronic devices, I prepare paper copies of stories and other realia that Im going to use during the storytelling 2) Students get interested in visual supports very easily

1) By using iPad or other electronic devices, show children about a short clip of video 2) Tell children a short that is carefully selected according to their proficiency level 3) Puppets are very useful for teachers to grab childrens attention 4) Make children pay attention to the puppet telling a story 5) Ask questions as if the puppet does 6) Make a few interactions during the storytime

Evaluation: Children are likely paying more attention to what they are interested in Puppet is a very useful tool for teachers to read a story in children s point of view It is very difficult to maintain children quiet and interested
