Description: The foundation stitch for this shawl is a multiple of 16 plus 2. However, if you wish to make your project bigger and or wider, you can add several set of 16 chains to your foundation chains keeping in mind that the pattern is repeated by 16 stitches. In the first row, you form 6 wave pattern. In 2rd row, you make the lower half of the flower. In 3rd row you make chain stitches for the base of the next wave and to complete the forming of the flower. In the 4th row, you form wave pattern again. Likewise in 5th row, you make half of the flower, and in 6th row, you will do the base chain again for the following wave while in 7th row completes the sequence of the pattern. Run a thread in between the cardboard and the yarns and tie a knot. With a sharp scissors, cut the opposite side of the wound yarns. Divide the yarns into 12 equal portions and tie each on the 12 tips of the shawl (see pictures). Trims the edge if necessary.
