Assessments for Time: Pre-Assessment: To introduce each lesson for time during the unit give each student

a manipulative clock and ask to tell the time. For example the first time would be time to the hour, the next day to the half hour and etc. until the unit is finished. The teacher uses observation and anecdotal note-taking to check for understanding. The post assessment consist of vocabulary, telling and writing time, and activities done in the am and pm. Test is posted below.
