Next Week

Bible: In Bible we will talk about Peter and his miraculous release from prison. We will learn about how God answers prayer and how we should pray throughout the day to ask for his guidance and protection in our lives. Math: We take our chapter 10 test and will begin chapter 11 which focuses on subtraction. Reading: We will be reading books about mothers. Science: We will talk about birds and how God made their beaks special. Handwriting We will be reviewing all the letters that we have learned so far. We are also continuing to work on writing words and sentences. This involves starting with a capital letter, using finger spacing, and using an ending mark (punctuation).

We have been working on addresses and phone numbers in school. If your child does not have it memorized by now, please take time to practice this over the weekend. Thank you! I will soon be sending home the plants that we planted in school. Feel free to plant these outside so your kindergartner can continue to watch them grow. You may need to tie them to something sturdy so they dont break.
