Assessment Type
Different Assessments will be used through out the semester. Assessments most
used will be listed.


Checklists- Will record baseline information and data
Narrative Description- Records all information
Anecdotal Record- records on going behavior for comparison

Administration of Assessment
Assessments will be done during the childs free time and when the child is
unaware of being observed by their teacher.
Outside play time
Free choice centers
Legal Considerations
Assessments will only be shared from Teacher to Parents or Teacher to
Director.
Confidentiality is important.
Involvement
Having Parent Nights to discuss what is going on like the Assessment
night.
Having Parent/Teacher conferences to share assessments made about
their child and be able to see their growth.
Having open communication with parents and encouraging them to be a
part of the classroom and their childs education.
Encouraging parents to ask questions or share concerns.
Expectations/ Outcomes
Assessments help teachers to evaluate lesson plans
Childs retention of lesson plans
Measure personal growth for each child
Interactive Activity
Survey will be passed out and collected
Parents will be able to be involved and share their opinion this way.

Evaluation
Will have a Questionnaire. With questions asked like.
How did I do?
Did you learning something new about assessments?
If so what did you learn about assessments?
What was your favorite part about tonight?
What would you suggest I change for next assessment night?
