I am sorry today for my Muslims friends. I am sorry that you my friends will be judged by the actions of one man. I am sorry that not all of God’s Children can live in peace. I am sorry that the actions of one man can cast such a cloud over your religion. I am sorry that many here in America will judge you because of what one radical Muslim extremist did in my state. I am sorry you my friends will be forever attached to the actions of that one man. Muslims are not the only religion that has been persecuted for their beliefs. You are not alone in your struggle for religious freedom. This has been going on for centuries. It will not stop now. Please take time today to pray for peace and ask your God to forgive the injustices in the world. I am sorry we can’t live in peace together with one purpose: Loving and serving God. I am sorry that we can’t resolve our differences without murdering innocent women and children. I am sorry we can’t serve the same God the bible teaches us. I am sorry some people who are in power in this country cannot believe in the God our forefathers wrote into our constituent. I am sorry we can’t love each other the way Jesus loved us. I am sorry for the people in this world who deny the Holocaust. The slaughter of millions of Jews who suffered and died under Adolf Hitler’s desire to rid the world of the Jews. Today, I am sorry I have to offer an apology for my country and to my Muslim friends who I pray for daily. I am sorry I have to ask God to give you an extra blessing to see you through the days ahead. I am not sorry to call you my friends and I will defend your rights to your beliefs as you serve God in your way.
May God bless you today and every day. I pray someday we can all live in peace and harmony. Until that day, be well my friends and may God be with you always. David1949
