I.

Licensing required for Mac DRC:


Mac client with Mac DRC installed requires Workstation license to be available o
n CAS server.
II. How to restart Mac DRC service:
1. Login into Mac workstation using account with Administrative privileges;
2. Open Terminal application;
3. Type sudo ;
4. Drag and drop file EQRestartDRC.sh from Finder into Terminal window. EQRestar
tDRC.sh can be
found at _equitrac_installer_dir_/Tools/;
5. Press Enter;
6. Type Admin account password.
III. How to stop Mac DRC service:
1. Login into Mac workstation using account with Administrative privileges;
2. From Terminal application execute following command "sudo /Library/StartupIte
ms/EQDRC/EQDRC stop";
3. Check Activity Monitor for eqdrcd process to disappear.
IV. How to start Mac DRC service:
1. Mac DRC service is started automatically at workstation boot time;
2. If need to start Mac DRC manually:
3. Login into Mac workstation using account with Administrative privileges;
4. From Terminal application execute following command "sudo /Library/StartupIte
ms/EQDRC/EQDRC start";
5. Check Activity Monitor for eqdrcd process to appear.
V. Troubleshooting:
1. Make sure Name/IP showed in "CAS server" field of EquitracPrinterUtilityX->Pr
eferences dialog is set to
valid CAS Machine Name or IP and not to "127.0.0.1";
2. Make sure Name/IP showed in "CAS server" field of EquitracPrinterUtilityX->Pr
eferences dialog can be
pinged from Mac workstation;
3. Make sure Workstation license is available on CAS server;
4. Make sure EquitracLoginController is of version 4.1.1.3454 or higher. Mac DCR
is not compatible
with previous versions of EquitracLoginController.
