Congress must give focus on climate change adaptation and mitigation

A lawmaker has taken the initiative so Congress could give special attention to the
global climate change phenomenon which threatens high-risk nations like the Philippines.
Rep. Douglas S. Hagedorn said it would be best that the House of Representatives
create a Standing Committee on climate Change Adaptation and itigation! contained in
House Resolution "o. #$%.
&'he creation of said standing committee will accelerate the establishment of a
more coherent and consistent legislation that addresses the urgenc( of the situation!)
Hagedorn stressed! concerned of the continuing destructive effects on man and the
environment.

polic( framework and polic( environment on climate change adaptation and mitigation.
