Dear Editor
RE: MORRISON’S TREATMENT TO ITS VISA CUSTOMERS
We are a group of students from the University of Zimbabwe studying towards an HBBS
degree in Marketing. We are hereby writing to you concerning the exploitation of visa
customers by the Morrison’s bank.
It has been brought to our attention that a particular lady, Margaret, was subjected to foul
treatment by the bank after she had her visa cancelled without her consent. At the time of
cancellation she was on a visit in South Africa and as a result, was unable to perform her
intended financial transactions, hence she was greatly humiliated and suffered the utmost
level of inconvenience. This reflects a high level of negligence on the part of the bank and we
feel that such incompetency should not go unchallenged in our society.
Through your publication of the story, you will become the voice of not only Margaret but
potentially other customers of the bank who have also encountered similar experiences and so
maintain your reputation as being the voice of the people.
Yours Faithfully
UZ Marketing Students
