Simpson and an Egyptian Arab father.
Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, Santa Clara
County, California then adopted him.
Steve Jobs had a deep-seated interest in technology so he
took up a job at Atari Inc. which was a leading manufacturer of video games. Jobs moved back to California before embarking on a spiritual journey to India.
Not long after returning to California, Jobs and Steve
Wozniak founded Apple Computers.
Apple, Inc. went public in 1980 with the success of the
Apple II personal computer.
Steve Jobs was appointed Disney's board of director in 2006
