RESOLUTION NO. 2014-001
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE CODE OF INTERNAL
PROCEDURES (2014) OF THE ATENEO STUDENT JUDICIAL COURT
WHEREAS, the Ateneo Student Judicial Court is the official judicial arm of the Sanggunian ng mga
Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Ateneo de Manila, that hears and resolves any
complaint involving the constitutionality, legality, and jurisdiction of the acts and policies of
Sanggunian officials;
WHEREAS, Article XIII Section 9 of the 2005 Undergraduate Students of the Loyola Schools states:
The Student Judicial Court shall adopt its own Code of Internal Procedures, including Rules
of Court;
WHEREAS, Title XI Section 50 of the 2011 SJC Code of Internal Procedures states: Amendments
to this Code may be proposed to the Student Judicial Court at anytime. Any such proposal
requires a 2/3 vote of all the Magistrates to pass;
WHEREAS, the Magistrates of the Student Judicial Court have reviewed and drafted revisions for the
2011 SJC Code of Internal Procedures from March 28, 2014 to May 17, 2014;
WHEREAS, the Student Judicial Court by unanimous vote of the Magistrates has approved this SJC
Code of Internal Procedures (2014);
WHEREFORE, be it resolved that this SJC Code of Internal Procedures (2014) be adopted and
promulgated by the Student Judicial Court. The aforementioned shall take effect seven (7)
calendar days upon promulgation through the Courts official media accounts.
