By demonstrating a video which is about numbers from the Youtube, teacher uses projection as a material to monitor this
video and also in order to reinforce the numbers concept, teacher gives to children worksheet.

Firstly teacher prepared smart board for the activity. After that she says yesterday I listened a song and I want to share it with
you, let’s listen it. Then she opens video of the Sayılar song and she says with it. At the same time teacher show numbers with
her fingers.

They repeat this song a number of times after that teacher ask number of objects from the class which they could show. Then
teacher gives them matching worksheet about numbers. She talked about a story about worksheet. She says ‘There is a child
name is Ali. Today he is birthday but he is really upset. The reason is that his birthday place is not be ready. Now, we could help
him. Let’s match materials with the numbers and help Ali to arrange them.’

While matching numbers in the worksheet, children will work
individually with the guidance of teacher.

While singing, children will sing the song as group.
Summary
Firstly, children recognize the numbers from 1 to 6 helping with a video and then, they matched the numbers with the objects in
the worksheet.

Teacher, in order to evaluate children’s learning, will observe and ask questions related to the activity.

Performance
Each child has their own worksheets and while they are doing these
worksheets, teacher will observe and control everyone’s learning
one by one.

Measurement & Assessment Activities for Group
Performance
During the singing song process, teacher can take a video of
children. In addition, teacher repeats the songs until all children
sing the song correctly.

Homework (optional) Teacher sends an information note with children to parents. Parents
and children make a numbers poster, which includes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
and 6 for children’s room. They take picture objects and put near
the numbers. For instance, they take picture three pillows and put
near the number three. After that, they bring them to the classroom
to show their friends.
