In order to attract children’s attention to the
numbers, teacher shows a video related with
numbers and includes a song. After this, they
recognize the numbers and they learn symbol of
the numbers from 1 to 6. At the end of the
activity, teacher gives them worksheets. In the
worksheet, there are numbers and objects and
children are expected to match the numbers
with the objects.

Teacher, in order to evaluate
children’s learning, will observe and
ask questions related to the activity.
Each child has their own worksheets
and while they are doing these
worksheets, teacher will observe and
control everyone’s learning one by one.
During the singing song process,
teacher can take a video of children. In
addition, teacher repeats the songs
until all children sing the song
correctly.


In this activity, for

prepares a homework

In order to attract children’s attention and
start to activity, teacher shows a cartoon which
name is Ice Age to children. After this cartoon,
they acted like a squirrel in the cartoon and they
seek their nuts separated to the classroom. After
they found these, they put these into the box and
they count these nuts.

During the activity, by using a
checklist, which includes children’s
physical and cognitive development,
teacher takes notes.

In order to improve and support
children individually, teacher controls
every child one by one and takes notes
about them.
In the discussion and the counting
process teacher evaluates children by
asking questions.

Before start to activity, teacher shows a Prezi
presentation to children. In this way, children
learn the addition and subtraction concepts.
After that, by telling a story with puppets,
teacher reinforces children’s understanding
about this issue. In the activity, they drill and
practice addition and subtraction concepts by
using a 3D material which has 3 branches and a
box under these branches .

During the activity process, teacher
observes children. After the activity,
teacher sends a survey which is from
Obsurvey via e-mail to the parents in
order to measure their children’s
knowledge about this concept.
While children are doing their
addition and subtraction exercises with
3D material, teacher uses checklist in
order to measure their performance.
At the end of the activity, teacher
asks questions about the activity and
takes note children’s answers.
