This artifact demonstrates my progress toward becoming:

Describe the artifact (i.e. background, context, goal or purpose of the activity or
assignment).

This is one conversation I have with my French teacher so I can get any missed work or
clarification about the work. I’ve been doing this since the beginning of the year and it
has helped me immensely. These conversations are mainly about homework, to inform
her if I will be missing, and if there is anything important that needs studying next class.

Why did you choose this artifact to demonstrate your progress?

This shows that I will make sure that I am up to date and that I can adjust to unforeseen
or planned absences. This also shows that I make sure that I don’t miss important
information. It also demonstrates that I can adapt to certain educational barriers that
might leave me with questions.

Explain how this artifact helps to document your growth in this target area.

During my STEM education, I will have many job shadowing’s, absences, questions,
etc… Events like that will force me to act accordingly in order to prevent something
unfavorable to happen toward me or my grade. So I will have to act accordingly to that
by talking or emailing teachers to get the information I will need in order to succeed and
not worry about certain information for the next time I see them.

Artifact Title: New and Improved Prioritization Tool!

This artifact demonstrates my progress toward becoming:

Describe the artifact (i.e. background, context, goal or purpose of the activity or
assignment).

This is the time management tool that I have created and plan to use soon. The main
purpose of this one is for school week usage so that I can have everything on one sheet.
This may eventually go on to be used for weekend usage if the workload shrinks over my
years as a high school student.

Why did you choose this artifact to demonstrate your progress?

This artifact shows that I can adapt to the workload of STEM and make something that
can help me handle that workload. This also shows my improvement of my time
management skills since this is specifically tailored for my school day use. Also, this
shows that I can make something I can adapt to rather than it being made for me.

Explain how this artifact helps to document your growth in this target area.

Adaptability to certain things is important and it is very helpful when you have tools to
help you manage it. This tool is very helpful in organizing the workload I have so I can
organize it. The “trial” testing of my chart shows that I can adapt to this chart easily and I
am more organized in my workload with this.
