Budget
Due to me producing
the entire production
at home on my own
equipment, there
aren’t really any
extra costs for things
like that, although I
will be having a small
budget for excess
digital equipment.
By that I mean I will
be using Stock files
for SFX and some
vectors for my
production of which I
will be spending a
total of £5.00

Each day over 100 million internet uses watch an online video
meaning there is generally wide market for adverts such as this
one. It is shown teenagers to young men are the ones most
interested in internet animation which 30% of online viewers say
they prefer amateur video and 16% like both amateur and
professionally made videos, and the final 51% prefer professionally
made video. Of all video watchers, statistics show over 19% watch
animation the most therefore out of 100 million viewers per day
there is certainly a big market especially with the majority of
animation watchers being teenagers to young adults. This is the
website I gathered all of my key information from.
http://www.pewinternet.org/2007/07/25/what-they-watch-
online/
IN SHORT-
My main target audience is teenaged-young men because of the
promising statistics that show these are the kind of people that
watch my kind of video, and the clothing is aimed towards men
with the more masculine feel to it.

Market Competitors

Why is my animated advert going to be better than a competitors filmed advert?
For the simple reason of creativity, all adverts these days are the same, people are never ‘wowed’ by an
advert because it just boring watching people showcase clothes, that’s why I have taken the idea of bringing
in the Panther line and animating a panther itself, different to people like ralph lauren who don’t animate the
pony in their advert. Therefore I think this is something original and it will work to give the audience a
different type of perspective on our clothing line

• The gender of my target audience will be boys. This is because the theme is ‘hunting’ and
‘panthers’ which is generally a boisterous topic therefore I think that it matches that demographic
best. Linked with that, the general age will be teenagers who are more into that kind of thing than
a young child would be. The clothing is casual and trendy wear, therefore this is something young
men will be looking to wear.
• On the socio economic side, there are no specific groups the advert is aimed at because of the
clothing being generally affordable. The only type of group the clothing is aimed more towards is
active individuals who like to socialise.
