Mango dal

1 cup toor dal
½ cup chopped raw mango pieces (If very sour, decrease quantity)
1 chopped onion
2 green chillies cut lengthwise
½ tsp chopped ginger
Salt to taste, pinch of turmeric
For seasoning:
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
garlic cloves, crushed
2 dry red chillis,
2 tsps oil
!resh coriander leaves
1" Soa# dal for 2$%&$ min 'efore coo#ing
2" In pressure coo#er add toor dal, mango pieces, chopped ginger, green chillies, salt, pinch
of turmeric powder, add around 2 cups water and coo# for & whistles
&" (eat a pan with oil and add mustard seeds, crushed garlic cloves, red chillies and stir fry
for ½%1 minute
" )dd the coo#ed dal, to the seasoning and coo# for 1$ minutes on slow flame" )d*ust
water to get required consistency and chec# seasoning
+" ,arnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with rice
