Get to know your shelter areas

Drills are planned during Summer Bridge dates/hours. Summer coordinator will keep you
posted.

All classrooms should have posted by the door:
o Pink posted with emergency evacuation locations for fire an severe weather
o Map of the building with highlighted emergency evacuation routes
o ECCS Emergency Response Procedures Matrix
o PRIDE poster / PRIDE matrix

If you are missing anything from this list, please let Whitney Bartle know

All teachers will have access to red emergency folders with:
o Class rosters for all classes
o Rosters will include emergency contact and health information
o Emergency contact information for Summer Bridge facilitators, building administration,
and on-call nurse
o Red/Green notification cards

In the event of a health emergency:
o Call 9-1-1 if significant health emergency
o Call the front office to notify them of emergency and ask about available staff trained in
CPR/First Aid/ AED
o Notify on-call nurse
o Ask front office to notify district administration (i.e. Superintendent)
