A Descriptive-Narrative Essay







We should be faithful in small things because it is in them that our strength
lies. Every person has his own strength, tested by his faith. It can be measured
through his actions and the way he manage his problems. When we face our problems,
we run towards the closest person weve ever had or directly to God. God shows his
actions through little things. In things that we cant see or even feel but it is good to
always remember and never forget him.
God tested my faith in a way that I never realized that will greatly affect not
just me but also to my family. It happened last year in the month of November when
my mom discovered that she has a lump in her bosom. At first, she hadnt even told
us about it and she kept it as a big clandestine to all the members of the family. She
just ignored about it and she didnt have any concerns about her illness.
Days passed and she can feel that her condition gets worse. She had decided to
tell us about it in a calm and normal way. At first, we didnt believe her until she
cried to death about her illness. I cant believe that our family will face a problem
such like this. Until we decided to go for a check-up and see a doctor or a
professional to determine her illness. Weve undergone some tests to discover her
disease.
After a week, we saw the results of her check-ups and we had found out that
the lump in her bosom doesnt contain any dangerous cells like cancer but instead it
holds water which should be removed immediately. During those days, I became much
closer to God, I prayed for my mom to be better when it comes to her health. I also
realized that I had forgot to remember and think of God so I promised myself that I
will renew my faith just to make my mom feel better.
As i fulfil my promises, I recreated my faith and continue to remember about
God, to pray not just for the health of my mom but also to all the members of my
family. I can achieve everything if I have faith that I will certainly win one day by my
determination, hard work and courage. I will keep my faith intact and work towards
achieving my prayers.
