Mona Lisa

poem written and translated from Arabic by

When I belong To your mysterious smile Words will sweat In my hand's pleat Love gathers his things from my body And he travels In mirrors of yearning as an explorer for Eastern cities which wars were destroy and for boards of clay .……… When Words will sweat In my hand's pleat I will give waiting Another chance whom leaves her sister Melted till half Under sun of day .......... when Love gathers his things from my body and then travels away in mirrors of yearning I crave if you be Half a dark nook to me I do not make my speech In it tidy or prepare what I say but prattle along … along about your vague smile and belong
