cell), what is it targeting, and how is it regulated? Include all players in this
process. (1 Point) Estrogen is a hormone released by the ovaries. When you have
low levels of estrogen, then it is a positive feed back. When you have high
concentrations of estrogen, then its positive feedback. This positive feedback
activates the anterior pituitary gland to release more FSH and LH and in return
makes more estrogen. It plays a vital role for the development and maturation of
follicles. The follicular phase has the most estrogen. Estrogen targets the uterus
and pituitary gland.
