SUPREME COURT OF GEORGIA

Case No. S14A1490
Atlanta, July 29, 2014
The Honorable Supreme Court met pursuant to adjournment.
The following order was passed:
JAMES B. HALL v. DANIEL C. CRAWFORD et al.
From the Superior Court of Chatham County.
The Chatham County Board of Elections (the “Board”) issued a decision
disqualifying appellant from seeking election to the Board. Appellant filed a
notice of appeal to the Superior Court seeking review of that decision pursuant
to OCGA § 21-2-6 (e). The Superior Court affirmed and appellant filed a direct
appeal to this Court. But because appellant is seeking review of an
administrative agency decision, he was required to follow the discretionary
appeal procedures, see OCGA § 5-6-35 (a) (1); Cook v. Board of Registrars of
Randolph County, 291 Ga. 67, 68 (727 SE2d 476) (2012). As he failed to do so,
this direct appeal hereby is dismissed.
All the Justices concur.
