The chairman
of Commission VII,
S. Milton Pakpahan,
on a group junket of
national legislators
to Bali, said the
impetus to create
more Bali-based
power generation
capabilities follows
the total blackout of
the Island that occur
on Saturday, July 12,
2014.
As a major
tourism destination, the
incident that caused Bali to go
dark must be anticipated and
prevented in the future, said
Pakpahan.
For this reason,
Pakpahan said he would
continue to lobby for the
development of Indonesia's
energy sector through research

and technology.
Bali, he said, must strive
to become more energy
independent, reducing or
eliminating the need for power
distributed from Java's power
grid.
Another member of
Commission VII expressed
similar sentiments, Sutan

Bhatoegana
said Bali was a
window on
Indonesia adding,
whatever happens
in Bali receives the
interest and
spotlight of the
entire world.
Because of
this, Bhatoegena
agrees with
Pakpahan, saying
Bali is a special
case especially
as regards the
development of
renewable fuel sources.
Bali currently consumes
794.752 kilowatts with minimal
stand-by reserve of 19.8
megawatts. The majority of
Bali's power is imported from
generating stations in nearby
Java.

BALI THE RIGHT WAY

Gday again folks and welcome to the Lebaran edition of the hottest
little newspaper in Bali, It's a great time of year on the island as we all
(well almost all of us) get a weeks holiday. Many local people will
take off back to their villages or home towns for a quick break as the
holiday pay hits the bank accounts. The buses will be flat out and
everything comes almost to a standstill. There are the usual supply
issues that we have every year with somethings, but this usually rights
aliasj@kutaweekly.com
itself in a few days as the powers that be let the trucks start rolling on
the island again. Being that Bali is probably the most desirable place to take a vacation, and not just for us
Westerners, which means there is about a billion peope from all around Indonesia and South East Asia that are
heart set on heading to Bali to enjoy some time off. The powers that be will generally stop all no essential
trucks from entering the island as there are literally thousands and thousands of cars heading our way.
I remember a few years back old mate Fester took a trip awy from the island during the holidays and did a run
to Java and always talks about the line of cars that were parked waiting for the green light to board the ferry.
The line of trucks also went for miles apparently. Over the next few weeks while you enjoy your time its going
to be always a good idea to take the bike instead of the car as the traffic is gonna be the kind of stuff that
nightmares are made of. I hope all my friends enjoy the time and have a great holiday. I also thank the staff at
the Kuta Weekly for doing such a great job over the past year, and will say that you are worth your weight in
gold.
Moving along, I think I need to mention the doomed MH17 flight that the world lost from the skys over the
Ukraine, and what can I say?? As a grown up we see these things happen and if you have half a heart, the level
of non understanding is too much for most people to comprehend. The entire episode can be boiled down to
one word, WHY, which I keep asking myself. Why would a perfectly sane person, a perfectly trained
person, pull the trigger on a rocket machine and shoot at a plane load of completely innocent people ?? Why
would a huge airline decide to fly over a war zone instead of taking an extra 20 minutes worth of fuel to fly
around ?? Why are people all around the world struggling to explain to their children why Daddy or Mummy
arent coming home?? A terrible thing and one this writter hopes never happens again

Anyways on a final note we all need to throw a big congratulations to the cast and crew of Crusoe's bar and
restaurant on Legian street as it's their 9th birthday. The powers that be down there are throwing a 2 day party
to celebrate which will start when the bell rings on Friday arvy signaling the pressure hour is on. I must say it
would have to be some of the funniest Friday
afternoons I have experienced when the beers free
and the toilet doors are locked. Mr Ron and the
crew have got a few surprises ready for the two day
event and are looking forward to you joining them
for a couple of sherbets and a feed. Thanks again to
Mr Ron for your support over the years
Ok folks that about my lot for the run and I trust
you all enjoy your time over the holiday period and
I hope the most of you stay safe, happy, healthy
and always remember, When you talk you are only
repeating what you already know, But when you
listen you might just learn something new.
Enjoy Your Week,

Bali the Island and

its people - are deeply
spiritual.
News carried by
NusaBali underlines this
deep spirituality with news
precipitated by the tragic
loss of MH17, shot down
from the skies over the Ukraine.
On board that flight was a
24-year-old Balinese man, I
Wayan Sujana, who was on his
way back to Bali after attending the
wedding of friends in Belgium
when his life was tragically cut
short. A self-made man coming
from the most humble of economic
circumstances in North Bali,
Sujana was the backbone and
future hope of his family
distinguishing himself as a scholar
and entrepreneur at an early age.
In accordance with Balinese
belief that the souls of the dead are
in danger of roaming aimlessly in
another dimension unless
prescribed prayers and rituals are
performed that will guide the dead
and leading them to the final
disposition of their remains in a

manner that will guarantee a

safe and continuing journey of the
soul.
Sujana's family have had no
news from the war zone where the
plane fell or from Malaysian Airline
regarding their brother and son's
body, clarifying if Wayan's body
has been found and identified.
In an atmosphere of
u r g e n c y, c e r e m o n i e s w e r e
conducted in the man's home
village of Pejarakan on Saturday,
July 19 - little more than one day
after the plane fell. Conducted by
Balinese priests adept at
communicating with the spirit
world, a Nebusin ceremony was
help to help guide the young man's
soul and body back to his home
and family temple.
Held on Saturday morning,
the spiritualist spoke to Wayan

saying in Balinese
I'm confused.
Confused. Where am I?
It's so hot here.
Wayan's father, I
Ketut Ginastra, prays
that his son's remains,
regardless of their state,
are quickly returned to
Bali to permit prayers
and a cremation seen
as essential to permit
Wayan's restful repose
and the continuing journey of his
soul.
Malaysian authorities have
asked the family to provide DNA
evidence to aid in the identification
of Wayan's remains and also
asked the family to prepare for a
flight to Kuala Lumpur that will
serve as the receptive center for
human remains once they are
made available by Ukrainian
officials.
The family learned of their
son's death in the early hours of
Friday, July 18th when a neighbor
and friend of Wayan awoke the
family to share the tragic news
regarding the crash being
broadcast by the international
media.

Footy's greatest number: What is the best jumper

number in North Melbourne history?
WHAT is the greatest number
worn at North Melbourne? Read
Glenn McFarlane's nominees
and cast your vote.
18 worn by Wayne Carey,
Jock McCorkell, Paul Feltham
It's hard to go past No. 18 as
the jumper that has made the
biggest impact on North Melbourne
as its greatest player Wayne
Carey wore the number. Carey
was a colossus of the club and was
twice a premiership skipper. He was
one of the greatest footballers of all
time, not just of his generation. Jock
McCorkell played 167 games from
1940-42 and 1946-53, winning the
club's best-and-fairest in 1952. Paul
Feltham was a member of North
Melbourne's 1975 premiership side,
playing 128 games.
29 Brent Harvey, Peter
German, Michael Gaudion, Phil
Baker
When Brent Harvey was
handed his first Kangaroos jumper,
the No. 29 had a solid history at the
club. Three hundred and seventy
nine games later, he has turned the
jumper into one of the most famous
in the club's history. Harvey has
made it his own across 19 seasons,

creating a legend that will surely end

with him playing more than 400
games. Before him, Peter German
wore the number across 185 games
from 1984-94. Michael Gaudion
managed 152 games for the club in
that jumper from 1957-67. And Phil
Snake Baker played 97 games for
the club, including the 1977
premiership.
27 Keith Greig, Laurie
Dwyer, Darren Crocker
There were few things that
eluded Keith Greig in his playing
career two Brownlow Medals
(1973-74), club best-and-fairest
(1980), premiership player (1975),
captain (1976-79), Victorian player
and captain, as well as AFL Team of
the Century wingman. He did it all in
the No. 27. Earlier, Laurie Dwyer
was an outstanding player for the
club in the same jumper, playing 201
games from 1956-70. He was
named on the other wing to Greig in
the North Melbourne Team of the
Century. Darren Crocker has been

an influential person at Arden

St for many years in a number of
different roles. He played 165
games for the club from 1985-98,
including the 1996 flag.
4 Ross Glendinning, Mick
Martyn, Sam Kekovich
Ross Glendinning won a
Brownlow Medal in the No. 4 jumper
for the Roos. He played 290 games
for the club from 1978-86 before
returning to WA to join West Coast's
inaugural team. While a VFL-AFL
premiership eluded Glendinning,
Mick Martyn managed two flags in
his time in the Kangaroos' No.4.
Martyn played 190 games for the
club before an ill-fated stint with
Carlton. And Sam Kekovich won a
best-and-fairest and played in the
1975 flag before taking on a much
bigger media profile after his footy
career.
11 Glenn Archer, Michael
Firrito
Glenn Archer was named the
Shinboner of the Century after an
inspirational career in the No. 11. He
wore it across 16 seasons and 311
games. And when Archer retired, he
handed the number over to Michael
Firrito, who continues to wear it with
pride.

Swans eye Hawks, not records

THE Sydney Swans are out to
break a record that has stood
longer than the Sydney Harbour
Bridge.
Staring down 13 consecutive wins
when they play Hawthorn on Saturday night
at the MCG, a win will break the record that
was first set when they were the South
Melbourne Football Club.
Before moving north of the Victorian
border and becoming the Sydney Swans,
South Melbourne set the record of 12 straight
wins in 1918, 96 years ago and 14 years
before the famous coat hanger bridge
opened.
More recently, a 79 year-old record of 12
consecutive wins stands, set again by South Melbourne,
between rounds 2 and 13 of the 1935 VFL season.
But Sydney co-captain Kieren Jack played down
the impressive club record.
Records are made to be broken, but that's all I
really buy into it, it's been a good run but we need to
continue, Jack said.
It's just another game and another test where we
can challenge ourselves against one of the best.
We'll see where we are at and where our structure
stands up against probably one of the best teams in the last
couple of years.

The way we focus week-in-week-out is

like that, we don't focus on winning streaks or
anything like that.
It's a week to week process and we just
want to win.
While the Swans have enjoyed a fierce
rivalry with West Coast in past years, a new
rivalry is emerging between the Bloods and the
Hawks.
From beating Hawthorn to claim the
2012 premiership to signing Lance Franklin last
year, battles between the two sides are
becoming increasingly more heated.
There have been some battles over the
years, both teams have an enormous amount
of respect for one another and have some real quality
players which has helped stay at the top end of the table,
Jack said.
They have always been very contested games
and I think Hawthorn probably had the wood on us for a
little while.
We got one back in the grand final and this year,
but there is certainly no guarantee when you go into it.
But all games are in the past and you can learn
from them along the way.
Footy always changes from when we played them
last time so we focus on them in a sense of their last
couple of games and see what they are doing and really
lock in what we need to do get a win.

Carlton looking to sign out-of-favour Swan Tom

Mitchell, gain Steven Trigg as new CEO
Mitchell, gain Steven Trigg as
new CEO
FRESH from landing a new chief
executive, Carlton is circling Sydney
young gun Tom Mitchell.
Mitchell, 21, is tied to the Swans
until the end of 2016 but is struggling to
get a game for the premiership
favourites.
The Blues have been pursuing
the highly-rated midfielder and were
surprised to learn that Sydney, which
enjoys a controversial $1 million salary
cap bonus, is paying him more than
$400,000 a season.
The Blues today confirmed
Adelaide chief executive Steven Trigg
as their new chief executive.
Trigg, who was suspended by
the AFL for six months over his role in
the Kurt Tippett salary cap scandal at
the end of 2012, will replace Greg
Swann. Trigg will join the Blues on
August 18 after finalising his role with
the Crows.
His appointment to Carlton was
confirmed at a board meeting on
Monday night, with Trigg announcing
his resignation from Adelaide on
Tuesday, saying he just knew the time
was right to move on after 17 years at
the club with more than 12 spent as
CEO.
The pure logic of joining a great
club in Carlton, I couldn't get it out of my
head, Trigg said.
There will be mixed views about
me going to another club. I have a
passion for the game and want to stay in

the game.
Carlton president Mark
LoGiudice said Trigg was the best
candidate from an extensive
recruitment process.
We have ensured that no stone
has been left unturned in our search for
a new chief executive, LoGiudice said.
Steven was among a host of
candidates from around the globe who
were interviewed for this position. He
impressed us with his business and
football experience, and his vision to
take our football club forward.
Importantly he comes with the
AFL's full endorsement.
This is a significant appointment
for Carlton and I am very pleased
Steven will be joining our team.
One of Trigg's first jobs when
arriving at Visy Park will be managing
the Blues' list including trading in the
likes of young Swan Mitchell.
Mitchell joined the Swans under
the AFL's father-son rule in 2011 and
had a breakout season last year.
Injuries and opportunity have
restricted him to just four games this
year and he has strong family links to

Visy Park.
His manager, Phil Mullen,
said he was unaware of Carlton's
approaches.
Let me say if they are, I
know nothing about it, Mullen said.
They certainly haven't
contacted me but funny things
happen in business
sometimes.Mitchell's father, Barry,
played 170 games for Sydney, 13
for Collingwood and 38 for Carlton
between 1984-96.
He was an assistant coach at the
Blues from 2003-07.
Mitchell Sr said he was not
aware of Carlton's interest.
He (Tom) is pretty happy up
there, Mitchell said.
He's had a bit of a run of
different things this year. Probably at
the start of the year when they weren't in
great form he was rested and since then
they haven't lost a game.
He's been a little bit unlucky in
that regard. And he's missed a few
weeks here and there with a couple of
little impact injuries. But the club are
having a great year and it's a good place
to be.
Mitchell made headlines in the
lower grade NEAFL with a stunning 64possession, four-goal game in May.
He hasn't played for the Swans
since the Round 4 clash with North
Melbourne.
Carlton and Sydney declined to
comment.

Hartlett to answer charge of pushing fan

WEST Adelaide
defender Adam
Hartlett will front the
SANFL tribunal tonight
after vision emerged of
him forcefully pushing
a Sturt fan in the face
on Saturday.
The video shows
Hartlett walking over to the
boundary line to retrieve a
football during the third
term of the SANFL match at
Richmond Oval when the fan
Luke Grant appears to verbally
abuse him.
Hartlett, who played 11
games for Carlton from 2007-09
and is the older brother of Port
Adelaide star Hamish, reacts by
pushing Grant in the face.
The incident was referred
directly to the tribunal by the
SANFL Incident Review Panel.
Hartlett will have his

previous convictions
including a three-match striking
ban from last year's preliminary
final taken into account.
Grant yesterday took to
Facebook and said he planned to
make a formal complain over the
incident.
The incident is the second in
recent seasons between a Sturt
fan and an opposition player.
In 2010, Eagles player
Leigh Treeby was fined $500 after
he got in a physical altercation with

a member of Sturt's
cheer squad at Woodville.
Treeby wasn't
playing in the match and
the Double Blues cheer
squad later paid the fine for
him.
In the same match,
Sturt Football Club says its
player Richard Tambling
was racially vilified by a
Bloods fan.
Sturt football manager Paul
Sandercock said the fan
concerned was evicted from the
ground by security staff and his
details passed on to West
Adelaide Football Club.
Sandercock said Tambling
did not hear the sledge and was
satisfied with the way the incident
was handled.
Sandercock said at this
stage Tambling did not plan to
make a formal complaint.

Willis Tepania from Kaitia, a town in the Far

North District of New Zealand, is believed to have had
a bucket of ice water poured over his head and then
proceeded to consume a large amount of strong
bourbon.
It is thought that shortly after Tapania fell asleep
for several hours and then went onto experience a
heart attack. It proved to be fatal.
Grieving family members have since warned
against others taking part in the 'ice challenge', which
involves the dunking or pouring of freezing cold water
over the head and nominating others to do so over
social media.
A spokesman for the family urged people to think
before they act.
"If you're going to do the ice challenge, do it for
the right reasons," he said. "Alcohol has nothing to do
with the ice challenge.
"Just basically think before you act, because one
mistake and your life could be gone. All for what, a
bottle of alcohol?" "Is that really worth it?"
The craze has become synonymous with raising
money for charity but does not usually involve the
consumption of alcohol.
Money is raised through the spread of
nominations through social media channels like
Facebook, Twitter and Vine. Once challenged you
have 24 hours to complete the challenge and donate to
a cause.
If you accept the challenge, you must videotape
your successful ice dunk and post it online.
It is believed that the footage of Mr Tepania's
particular 'ice challenge' has now been destroyed.

Residents Painting Their Grass

It may be hard to
keep a green lawn
with the drought in
Los Angeles, but
many homeowners
are choosing to
have their yards
painted green to
save money. Think
of this as a little like
dying your hair. But, to Kerri McCoy dying, or painting
grass, is a big drought-helper.
Once color is sprayed on, water for your lawn can be turned
off. She says lots of people are starting to discover this very
different technique. 'As soon as the water sanctions hit and as soon
as people find their water bills rising they're looking for ways to cut
back on their expenses and that's when they start calling,' said
McCoy, a lawn painter.

But instead of remaining at the

but shortly after that some of those
Lego pieces began washing up in
both the north and south coasts of
Cornwall. They're still coming in
today.

World on the Brink of the Next Extinction?

The last time that the Earth went
through a mass extinction, it
was 66 million years ago and
dinosaurs roamed the planet.
Three-fourths of Earth's
species died back then, and
now, it looks like we have a
similar situation heading our
way.
Mass extinctions are not a
new phenomenon Scientists believe
that the Earth has already gone
through five, all instigated by natural
causes such as asteroid impact,
volcanic activity and
atmospheric and
environmental
change. So the idea
of a sixth extinction
event, in and of itself,
is not a complete
surprise but it's the
s p e e d
o f
development that is
causing alarm.
On Thursday, a
new study published
by the journal
Science announced
not only that the Earth
was on the brink of
another extinction,
but that plants and
animals are dying at an
unprecedented speed at least 1,000
times faster than they did before
humans arrived. The current rate of
extinction is 10 times faster than
what biologists previously believed.
We are on the verge of the
sixth extinction, Stuart Pimm, a
Duke Univeristy biologist who led
the research. Whether we avoid it
or not will depend on our actions.
What is happening? Many of
the extinction-related events climate
change, rising sea levels, ocean
acidification, species loss have all
happened already in the past, long
before humans even came into
being. But the difference now is that
mankind is helping to accelerate this
pace, and we can see the effects
already.
Earlier this week, the World
Meteorological Organization

32

announced that the level of

carbon dioxide in the air has
reached new heights, the highest
recorded average in human history
and the increase can be directly
traced to the consumption of fossil
fuel since the industrial revolution.
This should serve as yet another
wake-up call about the constantly
rising levels of greenhouse gases
which are driving climate change. If
we are to preserve our planet for
future generations, we need urgent
action to curb new emissions of

these heat-trapping gases, said

WMO Secretary-General Michel
Jarraud.
There is more. A blistering UN
study and White House report this
year have also linked greenhouse
gas emissions from deforestation
and fossil fuel consumption to global
warming, rising sea levels and
ocean acidification which have had
a ripple effect on a host of other
environmental problems.
For one, the total collapse of
large parts of the Western Antarctic
ice sheet is estimated to raise sea
levels by as much as 10 feet in the
next few hundred years, which will
devastate coastal areas and change
the landscape as we know it:
The acidification of the
oceans combined with pollution,
habitat destruction and overfishing
has also led to a 90% decline in

globe. The same causes have

also led to the ongoing destruction
of the Great Barrier Reef, which lost
more than half of its coral cover
since 1985; a new study estimates
that that damage to the famous reef
system would be irreversible by
2030.
But while this kind of habitat
loss may be unintentional, it's
important not to discount the effects
of poaching and fishing either.
Elephants and rhinos are on the
verge of extinction due to the ivory
trade, and the
aforementioned
issue of overfishing
has serious
consequences; not
only does it affect
fish and other
predator species
that need the food
s u p p l y, i t c a n
devastate coastal
communities that
depend on fish for
their diet as well as
their economy.
What can we
do? Not all hope is
lost yet. While
another extinction
event may be
inevitable, we can still try to mitigate
the anthropogenic factors that are
contributing to its accelerated pace.
Although things are bad, and this
paper shows that they're actually
worse than we thought they were,
we are in a much better position to
do something about that, Pimm
said.
But that also means
acknowledging the problem, which
many people are still unwilling to do.
Just last week, House Republicans
voted to prevent the Department of
Defense from using its funding to
address the issue, despite
America's top military brass arguing
that climate change is now a
national security concern.
Perhaps a planet-wide extinction
might qualify as such a concern.

Police Arrest Japanese Artist

A Japanese artist who
specializes in vaginally
inspired art has been
arrested in Tokyo on
grounds of obscenity for
allegedly emailing design
files to her supporters so
that they could print 3-D
renderings of her
genitalia. Or as some are
calling it a vagina selfie.
Megumi Igarashi, who
works under the name
Rokudenashiko, had started a
crowd-funding project to create
a kayak designed after her
vagina. The design files were
supposed to be a reward for
investors who backed the
project.
Igarashi wrote on her
campaign's page that she
seeks funding to make her art
anatomically precise. It is

mold. Even when

successful, silicone mold will
gradually deteriorate, which
makes mass production
difficult.
The Tokyo Metropolitan
Police arrested the 42-yearold artist for breaking
obscenity laws date back to
1907 that prohibit the display
of genitalia. But the artist
argues that the data itself isn't
adult material. I cannot
understand why the police
recognize the 3D data as
obscene material, she said,
according to TechCrunch.
Other projects Igarishi
has made designed on her
vagina include a comic-book,
a remote controlled car, and a
lampshade.
A petition has been
launched to protest Igarashi's
extremely difficult to make arrest.

Aussies can't resist a holiday

Australians are
becoming more
cautious with their
income but don't
expect them to stop
making trips to Bali.
A new survey
shows more Australians
were saving and paying
off their debts last
quarter.
But, despite
otherwise prudent
behavior, more than half said they
were saving for a holiday, the St
George-Melbourne Institute
survey of household financial
conditions found.
St George's head of retail
banking Robert Allan said
Australians are savvy enough to
know a strong Australian dollar
means cheap travel.
"I was talking to a customer
last week and they were very

aware of the strength of the

Australian dollar and they know
that, actually, it was affordable and
it's what they want to spend their
money on," he said.
"People will put travel at the
top of the list, even ahead of things
around the house."
The survey of 1,200 people
found three-fifths of households
are spending 10 per cent or less of
their income paying off debts.
The proportion of

The

households with
car loans and credit card
debts also decreased.
Mr Allan said
people were taking
advantage of the
historically low interest
rates by accelerating
their debt repayments.
"Low interest
rates are taking off the
pressure" he said.
"Interest rates
have gone down but
they're (Australians) actually
paying off more than they're
required to do."
But not all debt is falling.
One in five households has
at least one HECS debt the largest
proportion since 2001.
And, the financial condition
of 18 to 24-year-olds has
decreased by close to nine per

Libra Sep 24 - Oct 23

We often have no idea of how transparent we can be sometimes in the eyes

of others. This week, be aware that much you could be keeping to yourself
is more visible to others than you might realize. The sky does recognize
your need to make certain matters your business and your business only
but is trying to rally a few troops to lend a hand wherever possible. You
needn't suffer in silence with so many others keen to be part of or help with
a matter close to your heart. On this occasion, it could be a case of a
problem shared being a problem resolved.

Many people believe that everything we do should always have at least

two benefits attached. They stick rigidly to the belief that one benefit to
doing something is not enough to justify investing time, effort or expense.
There appears to be an advantage to pursuing a plan that does offer one
big benefit of reassurance. Where there is reassurance, pride, comfort
and recognition aren't usually far behind. This week, if you focus on
achieving a desired result for a particular plan, you're likely to attain much
more.

Taurus Apr 21 - May 21

Scorpio Oct 24 - Nov 22

Before we can expect help or support from others, they need to understand
what help we need and why we need it. Sometimes, they can work this out
for themselves. Other times, it needs to be made clear. We're much more
'in tune' with our needs than they are. This week, you're likely to have to
draw upon help or support in some way from at least one person in your
world. Don't leave it to them to guess how they can assist. They'd much
prefer that you make it clear to them by asking and removing any
guesswork.

Gemini May 22 - Jun 22

If we peer into a fish tank, we see a world that suits fish immensely. If looked
after, they appear to live happy, carefree lives. Sometimes, fish carers must
consider what needs adding or replacing, based on what fish appear to like,
want or need. Enough of the analogy. This week, someone thinks they
know what's best for you. Before you can accept changes they're keen to
introduce, allow them to gain better understanding of your world and what
you truly want and need within it. Through looking into and not being a part
of it, their help could be more of a hindrance.

Horoscope

24 Jul - 30 Jul 2014 (398)

Some people will say or do just about anything to get what they want.
They will tell us what they think we want to hear. They make promises
they have no intention of honoring. We're aware when someone is trying
too hard to influence or cajole us. This week, you'd be well advised not to
take others' efforts to persuade you to agree with or commit to something
at face value. Trust that there is more to situations than meets the eye.
Reserve the right to question even that which appears unquestionable!

Sagittarius Nov 23 - Dec 21

The interesting thing about limitations we create for ourselves is we never
really reach them. We create clear ideas in our mind about what we're
capable of or will tolerate, yet we discover life doesn't come to a complete
halt when we reach psychological limits we set for ourselves. This week,
your patience and endurance levels are likely to be tested in some way.
It's important to understand that the sky's determination to encourage
you to reach a breaking point in a certain area is precisely what will bring
about a change you will ultimately be glad of.

Cancer Jun 23 - Jul 23

Capricorn Dec 22 - Jan 20

Much of what is beautiful has flaws or inconsistencies. Ironically, it is those

that make it unique. Think about how appeal would be lessened if the
Leaning Tower of Pisa was straightened Mona Lisa's smile made more
prominent. It is what we believe could be improved that draws attention to it.
This week, there is heartwarming appreciation to be gained from
recognizing how imperfect as opposed to perfect one particular situation or
arrangement is. Its beauty needs be acknowledged. Focus on that as
opposed to all that you believe is wrong within it.

Sometimes, we're a bit too quick to settle for 'second best'. If we discover
there's the slightest risk attached to attaining something we truly want,
then we convince ourselves that maybe it's best to accept something less
desirable if it means any risk is removed. Expect soon to be presented
with an opportunity to gain something you've long wanted. Don't listen to
the part of you that insists you're not worthy of it - or the saying about
something being too good to be true. The cosmos is determined to
present you with a reward for your recent patience and diligence.

Leo Jun 24 - Aug 23

Aquarius Jan 21 - Feb 19

Enthusiasm, they say, is infectious. It is also a helpful and integral tool for
getting others to agree with our ideas or proposals. Where you're used to
struggling to make a point, you could find certain people to be easily won
over. Your difficulty this week might surround not knowing when you've
won. If you can be 'live' to knowing when your point has been made or
you've achieved a result without laboring a point, then you will find the
coming week to be immensely enjoyable, reassuring and productive.

Do you care? If so, how should you demonstrate your concern? Maybe
you could wear a frown all day and be constantly stressed and grumpy in
order for others to get the message that you're truly concerned about
something they believe you should be concerned about. That is, of
course, one option. A second, more healthy and productive way is to do
what you do best. Be confident. Quietly and diligently tackle a very
surmountable challenge. You will overcome it and stand to gain much
admiration and respect in the process.

Virgo Aug 24 - Sep 23

Pisces Feb 20 - Mar 20

When the going gets tough, the tough, like everyone else, must take stock
of their situation and decide how best to continue making effort before they
get going. This week, you have something to prove to yourself and one or
two others. You owe it to yourself to demonstrate what you're capable of in
an area that you have struggled within of late. It's time to get tough and
decide, once and for all, where your talents or dedication are best utilized.
Developments and opportunities coming your way will help immensely with
your decision.

How do Olympic bobsleigh teams or ski jumpers train? There is

presumably machinery or software that help but surely real training
comes with the thrill and absolute fear of soaring down a track or off a
ramp for the first time. This week, you're being presented with a challenge
requiring you to roll up your sleeves and tackle it with little thinking or
preparation time. On this occasion, there's no scope to look for a solution.
Trust that it will come once you start focusing on what needs focusing on.

Sex on Fire Kings Of Leon

is the first single released from
American Alternative Rock band Kings of Leon's fourth
studio album Only by the Night. The song gave Kings of
Leon their first number-one single in Australia, Finland,
Ireland and the United Kingdom, charting at the topspot on digital downloads alone in the latter country,
before its physical release. In September 2009 it was
Britain's second most-downloaded digital single ever.
The song has sold 1.2 million copies in the United
Kingdom as of November 2012. It has also gained
significant popularity in the band's native United States,
reaching number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks
chart and number fifty six on the Billboard Hot 100,
making it their second highest charting song in their
homeland on the former chart. Along with all of these
achievements, in 2008, the song earned the band their
first Grammy nominations. The song was nominated for
Best Rock Song, and won the award for Best Rock
Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. In addition, the
album earned a nomination for Best Rock Album.
Channel V Australia named the song as the third
biggest hit of 2008. It was voted number one in Triple J
Hottest 100 countdown for 2008. Following the success
of the follow-up single "Use Somebody" in the United
States on pop radio, the track was re-serviced to U.S.
pop radio in November. Remixes of both songs were
used for the runway soundtrack in the 2009 Victoria's
Secret Fashion Show.

named "Sex on Fire".

"They were totally different lyrics. Depending on
whether a song starts with a melody or starts with lyrics,
you know if it starts with a melody you just keep playing
the melody over and over until you get it down and just
throw in any lyrics that fit the verbal flow. It was actually
going to be "Set Us on Fire", but one of the sound mixers
in the studio walked in as we were playing and said,
"Sex on Fire", huh?" And it just kind of became a running
joke, and we stuck with it.".
Nathan also said that some lyrics tried were "Socks on
Fire", "Snatch on Fire" and "Cocks on Fire".
The song is played in the key of E Major at a tempo of
153bpm. The vocal range is B3-G#4.
Critical reception
The song has received generally positive reviews.
Digital Spy rated the song four stars out of five,
describing it as "A truly stirring single that will be a
definite highlight on their winter arena tour." The Sun
also praised the song, saying it is "another of the latest
album's genuinely great and grand numbers." Planet
Sound also rated the song 9/10. However, Caleb
Followill originally thought the song was "terrible"
according to Spin Magazine it was almost ditched
during recording. Despite giving the album a 4 out of 5,
Spin thought the song was 'silly'. Music reviews blog
Urbanite Youth described the song as "a rather generic
rock single" but did praise Caleb Followill for his vocal
talents. This song was number 40 on Rolling Stone's list
of the 100 Best Songs of 2008. This song is used for the
Composition
trailer
of the 2009 movie "Stay Cool".
In an interview with Robbie, Marieke and the Doctor on
Australian radio station Triple J, Nathan Followill

The director of the music video for "Sex on Fire"
was Sophie Muller. As of January 2014, the video
has over 82 million views on YouTube. At the end of
the video, Caleb opens his mouth and smoke starts
coming out of his mouth. In the video, the band is
seen playing in the next room at an abandoned
factory. Some of the scenes in the video shows
Caleb's brothers holding Caleb, who is untied to a
soft mattress, Nathan washing his hair in a black
water tub, Matthew explaining to Nathan and Jared
about Caleb and also Matthew eating a chicken
wing and Caleb looking at strange shadows while
lying on a soft mattress.

Turner Brown
Skinny little white
Irishman gets into an
elevator, looks up and
sees this HUGE black guy standing next to him.
The big guy sees the little Irishman staring at
him. He looks down at the Irishman and says:
"7 ft tall, 350 pounds, 20 inch penis, 3 pounds
of testicles, Turner Brown"
The little white Irishman faints dead away and
falls to the floor.
The big guy kneels down and brings him to,
shaking him......The big guy says, "What's wrong
with you?"
In a weak voice the little guy says, "What
EXACTLY did you just say to me?"
The big dude says, "Well, I saw your curious
look and I figured I'd just give you the answers
to the questions everyone always asks
me............... I'm 7 ft tall, I weigh 350 pounds, I
have a 20 inch penis, my testicles weigh 3
pounds each...and my name is Turner Brown"
The little white Irishman says:
"Turner Brown?!....Sweet Jesus.........I thought

From the mouth of Babes

A group of kindergartners were trying very hard to
become accustomed to the first grade.
The biggest hurdle they faced was that the teacher
insisted on NO baby talk!
You need to use 'Big People' words,' she was always
reminding them.
She asked John what he had done over the
weekend?
'I went to visit my Nana'.
No, you went to visit your GRANDMOTHER.Use
'Big People' words!'
She then asked Mitchell what he had done
'I took a ride on a choo-choo'. She said. 'No, you
took a ride on a TRAIN.You must remember to use
'Big People' words'.
She then asked little Alex what he had done?
'I read a book' he replied.
That's WONDERFUL!' the teacher said.
'What book did you read?'
( I love this... )
Alex thought real hard about it,then puffed out his
chest with great pride, and said,'Winnie the SHIT'

This is a very rare set produced by the celebrated Johns

the last century.
Do you have any idea what they would fetch if they were in
good condition?
