TEXAS HEALTH PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL OF DALLAS
NI CU Supervisor: Responsibilities: Facilitates patient/ nurse assignments based on volume,
acuity and skill mix, and provide coordination of patient care on nursing unit. Performs clinical
leader rounding for patient satisfaction scores, and supports hospitals vision, mission, and values.
I utilize effective problem solving techniques and service recovery to staff nurses and families.
Facilitate patient flow of unit. Provide continuous constructive feedback and timely performance
evaluation to staff. Participate in coaching, counseling, and mentoring. Collaborates with
physicians, staff, and hospital departments outside agencies to provide patient care, participates
in policy development and mentors staff regarding policies and procedures, and regulatory
requirements, meets annual goals for department KPSs. I am dedicated to providing evidence
based practice care and educating staff through monthly journal club articles during mandatory
staff meetings, provide continuity of care through primary nursing.
