Music Project

You will research a famous band or singer from a Spanish speaking country. You will present
your band/singer to the class using a visual aid (poster, PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.). All projects are
due (to be left in class) on Friday, the 5th of September. If you make a poster, it should be
approximately 26 by 18. The project is worth 50 points.

Your poster should include the following information:
Your artists name (and yours!) and where they are from (city and country)
A picture and the age of the artist
What type of music they play/sing and the title of one of their songs
Listen to at least one, look up the lyrics, and tell the class about it
Additional interesting information about their lives such as information about their
family, their education, etc.
A properly formatted works cited page from reliable sources (glued to the back of your
poster or added to the end of your PowerPoint or Prezi presentation)
i.e. no Wikipedia, about.com, Yahoo Answers, etc.
OJO! Failure to provide a properly formatted works cited page will result in a 0
on the project.

Projects are worth 15% of your grade
