Appetizers (Choose 1):
Bumper Sticker Create a bumper sticker with the
most important lab safety rule. You must have a
picture, a slogan and the rule. Make sure you color it!
Button - Create a button about one of the most
important lab safety rule. You must have a picture, a
slogan and the rule.
Side Dishes (Choose 1):
Story time Write a story for a younger student. In
the story, you must tell the story as a lab tool that
has been involved in a lab accident. Explain in the
story how the accident should have been dealt with
according to the lab safety rules.
Interview time You are a reporter who just
received a call about a lab experiment gone wrong.
You have arrived at the school to see an ambulance
picking up a student. You must interview the
Principal, the Science Teacher, the student getting
into the ambulance and an eyewitness who saw the
accident in the lab.



Entre (Choose 1):
Parent share: Ask your parent/ guardian which
safety rules (at least 3) do they think are the most
important and why. Then, explain to them the safety
rules you think is most important and why. Write a
paragraph about the conversation you had with your
parent and have them sign it as proof of assignment
completion.
Teacher share: Ask another teacher one of the
following questions: Can you name 3 safety rules
that are important? or Why is it so important that
students make a 100% on their lab safety test?
Write a paragraph about the conversation you had
with that teacher and have them sign it as proof of
assignment completion.
