Goal:
For students to be able to show their
understanding of the factors which lead
to a solution.

Role: They are journalists reporting on
the progress of a world conflict.

Audience: Members of a press
assembly/ Grade 5 members

Situation:
The students will choose an event and
document its progress from a conflict to
a resolution. They need to support their
beliefs by using numerous sources to
validate their claim.

Product, performance, purpose:
Students will research and create an
argument which will support their
view. They will come prepared to
deliver a presentation in front of an
important audience.
