Good Intentions Good intentions are all that I have, But what do I have to show for that.

While others make hay while the sun shines, I tap my empty stomach to feel divine. Because all that I have are Good Intentions, Good Intentions which are all but mine. No one believes to believe in me. But my Good Intentions are all but divine, For Good Intentions make me dine, in Heaven above, With the one who's truly Mine. But Good Intentions are all that stay. For one day we would surely stray, To the other side were all my Good Intentions, Would surely pay. Alas when alive my Good Intentions are of use to none. But I know for sure that “Me and My” Good Intentions have surely won. For one day when all is gone all that prevails are Good Intentions. By Wills Thomas
