Some print copies of the subject guide have been updated to refer
to the 2011 edition of the book, but some refer to the 2008 edition.
You can use either edition of the book, but you may need to amend
some of the references to it in your copy of the guide. The table below
shows those references which vary depending on which edition of the
book you are using; all other references to it in the guide apply to both
editions of the book.
